Account Manager Benelux

Bentley Systems is expanding and investing in the Benelux region. In order to strengthen our sales and business development team, we are currently looking for an Account Manager / Business Manager for the Benelux region.

Primary functions for the Account Manager / Business Manager:

  • Creating new business opportunities to increase sales and reach or exceed quotas.
  • Prospecting for new users within different vertical industries (e.g. transportation, government, and project delivery space).
  • Creating effective account business plans and opportunity plans and executing against them.
  • Managing business opportunities and forecasting all revenue by effectively following Bentley Sales Process and managing sales opportunity pipeline in CRM.
  • Promoting and properly communicating our value proposition to designers, contractors and owners by providing technical solutions to help the customer's meet or exceed their business objectives.
  • Collaborating and communicating with various internal Bentley business units.
  • Creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations for prospects and customers.
  • Attending tradeshows & keeping current on AEC market business and software solution trends.
  • Creating and delivering thought leadership presentations at industry events and seminars.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in positioning and selling enterprise software solutions
  • Client-focused solution selling experience, ability to communicate client business needs, points of view and value propositions
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Business or engineering educational background
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English languages
