Are you ready to start a new journey with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world’s infrastructure? Bentley is looking for you! We are seeking a talented engineer to join our Water Infrastructure team and contribute to the development, implementation and use of new water asset management solutions.

The Product Success Consultant interfaces with users and implementation specialists to provide demonstrations, training, support and other services. You will also collaborate with our development team and partners, lending your knowledge of water/wastewater utility operations and analytical expertise to help develop new technologies for utility owner/operators.

Location: This role can be virtually-connected from a home office or located in our Denver office.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Development
  • Research, collaborate and advise on asset-management-related methodologies and statistical evaluation methods for incorporation into OpenFlows asset management solutions.
  • Work with colleagues and partner organizations that specialize in water and wastewater engineering technology solutions to identify ways to expand solution functionality to better meet user needs.
  • Convey user feedback to product management and development staff.
  • Present user requirements in the form of specifications to software developers for the development and enhancement of program commands and workflows.
  • Assist with creation of help documentation as needed.
  • Product Support and Consulting
  • Provide technical application support to internal colleagues, technology partners and external users. Answer complex questions on product use and implementation and provide guidance on which Bentley features/technologies best meet needs.
  • Provide billable professional services consulting, including initial solution installation, programming, implementation, customization, integration and customer orientation.
  • Training and User Adoption
  • Develop and deliver training materials related to engineering workflows, specifically oriented towards the application of relevant solutions/software tools.
  • Ensure that the customer is effectively using our solutions and is satisfied with those products and services.
  • Encourage prompt adoption of the latest software versions and use of new functionality.
  • Pre-Sales Support and Marketing
  • Consult with sales colleagues and current and prospective customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate Bentley solutions.
  • Deliver technical sales presentations and demonstrations on solution/software.
  • Provide demonstrations and details on solution capabilities in response to customer Requests For Proposal.
  • Attend, present and/or exhibit at industry conferences.
  • Assist in the development of technical content for marketing materials.

 

 What You Bring To The Team:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, hydraulic and water resource engineering, environmental engineering, or related field is preferred.  Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in water distribution or sewer collection system operation, design and capital improvement planning.
  • Experience with ESRI GIS data models and databases
  • Database experience with Access, SQL, CCTV (Access), etc.
  • Experience with NASSCO (CCTV, sewer)
  • Expertise in statistical analysis as applied to failure probability and risk
  • Hands-on experience in with hydraulic modeling software like WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, EPANET or SWMM is a plus.
  • Experience with work order management software.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong analytical and customer relationship skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to work under the pressures of deadlines.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and balance the time and effort between those projects.
  • Ability to lead/influence design workshops within an existing solution framework.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent action.
