Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing ProjectWise related activities such as installing, configuring and troubleshooting the software; and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches

Administrative tasks including the maintenance of datasources, standards and work processes along with developing procedures that allow designers to work as a team

Interfacing with multiple design companies and/or departments

Be able to define business requirements and configure ProjectWise to meet them

Delivering ProjectWise user and administrator training

Troubleshooting systems related to ProjectWise such as application servers, databases, webservers and networks

A comprehensive understanding of electronic document management with strong emphasis on engineering design

Experience in managing ProjectWise or similar system preferred

Experience in PDS,SP3D,PDMS Administration.

Familiarity with relational databases, including administration, operation and maintenance with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server

Configuration experience with MicroStation workspaces and/or AutoCAD profiles

A thorough understanding of networking, including TCP/IP and Windows Active Directory

Experience with ITIL service management concepts and methodologies; certification is a plus

A thorough understanding of web technologies including Microsoft IIS and Microsoft SharePoint

Must have excellent interpersonal and telephone skills, organizational, planning skills and willing to talk in front of users.

Should be able to obtain problem resolution in a timely manner. 

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

2 to 6 years of experience.

Should have a background of Mechanical engineering -- Piping engineering is an advantage.

Should have a good knowledge about 3D plant products.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Willing to travel.

Answering user questions over the phone, email and web portal. 

Ability to analyze complex technical problems.

Tactful and patient with users.

Ready to deliver remote or onsite training of 3D plant products.
