Trust Program Technical Writer

Position Summary

Bentley is looking for a Trust Program Technical Writer to develop communications and content about Bentley product and organizational security, privacy, and compliance. 

Bentley’s Trust Program Writer will be highly motivated and be able to communicate complex information clearly, concisely and accurately. Your role involves tasks like creating and updating Bentley.com and Trust Center content as it related to Bentley’s security, privacy, and compliance.  You will help to update account and user FAQs and will need to be the key link between our IT security, legal, compliance, sales, software engineers and developers, and marketing teams.  You will have the judgment and expertise to develop key communication pieces to our accounts and to the public that will tie together many vital but disparate parts of the Bentley organization and support the goal of building trust with our users and potential users.

 

Responsibilities

  • Write, publish, and maintain high-quality help content and user interface messaging.
  • Own relationships with privacy and security stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Help to manage, create, and improve internal documentation, sites and resources used by Bentley colleagues.
  • Identify account and user concerns, points of confusion, needs in order to generate appropriate responses and written content to address the issues.
  • Be an active participant in the team, provide support, and work constructively with colleagues to solve problems and advance technical communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience writing and developing technical content, preferably in the tech and software sector related to security and privacy. 
  • Experience coordinating with and incorporating input from multiple sources.
  • Experience completing multiple projects simultaneously, on time and with minimal direct supervision.
  • Experience in project and process management of a documentation set.
  • Experience in content management systems and/or help tools.
  • Strategic communicator.
