Position title:  Strategic Partnerships Communications Manager

 

Overview/ Main purpose of the role:

Bentley Systems is looking for a Marketing Manager for its Strategic Partnerships programs to plan and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) activities, manage marketing communications and promotional activities, and develop content to enable Bentley’s Strategic Partnerships team to achieve its new business growth goals. The primary objective is to build internal and external awareness of digital co-ventures among Siemens and its ecosystem. 


Key Responsibilities:

(Primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role)

  • Create communication tools and content for promoting what we are doing jointly with Siemens both internally within Siemens and externally to the industry through newsletters, social media, blogs, articles in industry publications, or other promotional methods.
  • Execute specific marketing communications plans for Bentley/Siemens product launch activities. This includes organizing and collaborating with various Bentley marketing teams and with Siemens marketing teams on specific industry or product content for those joint partner marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing services colleagues (creative services, media services, social media, and writing/editing) to deliver on-time and on-message marketing and public relations materials for GTM activities, including advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with various Bentley colleagues for participation in third party events, including industry conferences, webinars, co-sell events and workshops, Bentley’s annual Year in Infrastructure Conference, and other C-level events.
  • Align and collaborate with internal stakeholders and partner contacts for planning and execution of joint marketing and PR activities for relevant Bentley industry, product, and regional marketing plans.
  • Set and monitor marketing campaign/program and partner activity lead tracking for all partner activities involving co-sell activities including webinars, event attendance, digital lead campaigns, etc. 
  • Track and communicate all marketing activities with and between Siemens on a quarterly basis to demonstrate on-going collaboration successes.

 

Skills and Competencies:

(Abilities that the individual needs to perform this role effectively)

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Marketing Communications required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of marketing or marketing communications is required, plus a combination of product marketing or industry marketing and/or sales experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management levels.
  • Preference for someone who speaks German, but not required.
  • Ability to effectively write, create and deliver overall marketing and promotion mix, including, but not limited to: multi-media, presentations, video, website, social media, events, public relations and thought-leadership content.
  • Ability to project manage and plan short and long -term activities and ensure deliverables are met on-time and with accuracy.
  • Strong teamwork qualities with ability to work with multiple cross functional business units is required.
  • Strong strategic/tactical planning and implementation capabilities are required.
  • Ability to serve in an outward-facing/public persona
