We are looking for you! We need a talented writer and editor who can take marketing content and make it jump off the page. If you have a flair for the English language and experience writing and editing articles, case studies, e-books, white papers, and brochures, we would like to meet you. This role requires the ability to create corporate marketing communications that engage the reader, while using established messaging and properly positioning the company’s comprehensive portfolio of software. Come join the marketing team, work with colleagues around the world, and showcase your excellent editing, writing, and strong interviewing skills. If you have a background in journalism, that’s even better.

Within this role you will work in a fast-paced environment with industry marketing directors and product marketing managers to write and edit compelling and creative copy that focuses on Bentley Systems’ wide-ranging software portfolio. Articles will focus on thought-leadership topics as well as extraordinary infrastructure projects designed and engineered by our software users around the world. You will work directly with our public relations team in their efforts to place collateral in influential trade and business publications.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit articles, case studies, white papers and other marketing collateral for a broad range of industry sectors
  • Write, edit, and proofread articles in support of public relations efforts, including setting up and conducting user interviews, obtaining colleague input, meeting press deadlines
  • Ensure that the marketing collateral is in keeping with Bentley’s corporate messaging and writing style
  • Review and publish pages on Bentley’s website

 

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Three years writing experience in a corporate communications environment, or for a newspaper or magazine
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, English, or journalism is preferred
  • Excellent interviewing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML a plus, but not required
