Senior Technical Program Manager

Position Overview 

Bentley is currently amid a transformational journey to modernize sales, marketing, data and ERP platforms to upscale our user experience and processes across the enterprise. Within the digital business enablement team, we are focused on partnerships with our business to deliver world-class enterprise applications to streamline our business processes and user experience. The team is seeking a seasoned technical program manager to drive delivery of large transformational programs, such as ERP and e-commerce business transformations.  

 

The ideal candidate must be highly effective in communicating, planning, prioritizing, and executing project work. This role will serve as a critical partner to bring together technical knowledge of enterprise application deployment with business process in in delivering transformational programs and coordinating cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment with leadership. We're looking for an individual with demonstrated experience in developing and optimizing processes, achieving operational goals, and implementation of enterprise applications. Responsibilities 

  • Drive execution of multiple simultaneous, cross-functional, transformational projects and/or programs, with a focus on Bentley’s ERP business transformation. Proactively adjust or prioritize to course-correct programs that are in jeopardy and communicate those updates to the correct stakeholders.  

  • Apply technical skills to orchestrating solutions across sytems within the enterprise application environment, including the planning and execution of the devised solution.  

  • Interface with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders and teams across the organization in the execution of project work. Partner with Finance to track and manage budget and spend across transformational initiatives. 

  • Assist with strategic planning activities, cross-functional prioritization, and management of dependencies across transformational programs. 

  • Partner with the organization to propose, refine, and implement process improvements and drive efficiencies including ways of working for digital to execute in a predictable and consistent manner.   

  • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the entire organization and assist with bringing colleagues together to develop solutions. 

  • Foster a collaborative environment where differing perspectives are encouraged, acknowledged.  

 

Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of experience in IT or business transformation consulting / strategy / stakeholder management or related experience. 

  • 2+ years of experience in large scale business transformation execution, with demonstrated ability to drive complex strategic and operational initiatives or related experience.  

  • Demonstrated program management in the ERP solution space, with proven track record of large-scale transformation execution and delivery.  

  • Technical specialty in ERP space to support solutioning, planning, and execution of projects with the willingness to lean into projects to drive their success. 

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to blend business process expertise and program execution to manage risks and dependencies, and drive program execution. 

  • Strong communication skills; effective communication in written and verbal form.  

  • Experience with digital program management tooling such as Aha or Jira. 

  • Ability to report and manage key metrics for success, track KPIs towards those metrics, and propose data-driven solutions. This position is expected to utilize data and metrics to communicate needs.
