Your Day-to-Day:

 

Monitor On-page SEO

  • Provide support to local marketers for keyword research, competitor research, recommendations for keywords to use on localized web pages in 12 languages.
  • Support ad hoc requests for adding SEO meta content to EN web pages.
  • Provide support to local and regional marketers for SEO on language web sites.
  • Administrator for Conductor Searchlight SEO tool.
    • Add/manage keywords and categories in Searchlight SEO tool (including adding new keywords to the tool from regional marketers).
    • Create Searchlight workspaces (dashboards) for regional marketers to review language site SEO performance on their own.
    • Provide training to marketers for Searchlight.
  • Review SEO and web traffic reports for overall web presence and performance.
  • Provide recommendations to product marketers and regional marketers, etc. to improve web traffic and lead gen.
  • Provide documentation and training for educating local and regional colleagues on SEO best practices.

 

Monitor Technical SEO

  • Manually create biweekly hreflang sitemap.xml files for all languages sites and submit to IT for pushing to Production.
  • Run biweekly crawls on all 13 language sites to:
    • Identify and fix site errors (404s, 500 server errors, etc.)
    • Identify and fix missing SEO meta tags, Headers, and keywords.
  • Review Google Webmaster Tools (Search Console) for health of web site (broken links, indexed pages, sitemap errors, etc.)
  • Create semantic markup for Google knowledge graph (not doing this now but want to…takes high effort). Enhances search results.
  • Work with web team or IT to rectify any issues discovered from SEO audit process.
  • Manage redirects for bentley.com (after removing pages, or for creating vanity URLs), manage and remove expired redirects
  • Manage list of Bentley-owned web domains.

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following personal attributes:

  • Experience with various technologies including:
    • Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of SEO lead, SEO manager, or digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, technical or related business and marketing field.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to advance project objectives to completion.
  • Strong cross-organizational communication and change leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead SEO strategy across the entire web development process.
  • Ability to analyze and apply insights from analytics data into effective SEO and digital strategy.
  • Marketing and SEO experience.
  • Experience with social media, SEO, SEM, digital content marketing and performance.
  • Experience with various content technologies including:
    • Content management systems.
    • Sitecore experience a plus.  Sitecore MVP an added plus.
    • Computer skills must include practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Metadata and taxonomy management tools.
    • Migration tools, analytics tools, translation tools and video streaming software.
    • Basic Coding: HTML; CSS, Javascript; jQuery; Dreamweaver
