Manager, Software Development

Bentley Systems, Incorporated, (Exton, PA) opening for a Manager, Software Development to lead a team of software engineers responsible for building and maintaining an orchestration framework on Kubernetes that powers iTwin data access through iTwin.js-based APIs over the internet. This role includes hands-on contributions to software development, critical design and architectural decision-making, and ensuring platform's scalability and reliability. Oversee project scoping, work allocation, and translate product and technical vision into executable plans. Onboard other service teams across the organization to adopt Kubernetes as a cloud-agnostic deployment platform.

REQUIREMENTS:

U.S. Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, as determined by a credential evaluation, in Computer Engineering and five years of software engineering experience, and working with microservice development with cloud native technologies, API design and management, DevOps & CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops and Octopus, hosting iTwinjs based backend service on cloud, technical decision-making, strategic planning and execution.
