Information Security Business Analyst

Bentley Systems is seeking an Information Security Business Analyst located in our Exton, PA global headquarters.  This role reports to and supports the IT Controls Manager by assessing business needs regarding information security and associated risks, while ensuring the identified solutions are compliant with legal, regulatory and other business requirements.

 

This includes providing support with policy management, risk assessments, audit facilitation, security awareness, responding to security questionnaires, and other routine operational tasks. This role requires an individual with the ability to speak and present information effectively before groups, colleagues and users.

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing the documentation governance process for the policies, standards and procedures for the Information Security Program.
  • Assist with the execution of risk assessments and related mitigation activities.
  • Ensuring the timely collection and quality of evidence to support successful audits of the Information Security Program. Analyst will be expected to present and explain evidence to external parties.
  • Assist with implementation and presentation of Information Security awareness material and training. Analyst will be expected to present training materials.
  • Analyst will engage with multiple business units to ensure timely completion of Information Security questionnaires.  Analyst will be expected to interact with Sales, Legal and Technical Teams as required to complete questionnaires.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or other related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of related experience with IT Governance or Information Security concepts.
  • Knowledge of common Information Security frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 27001/2, Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) and/or the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework.
  • Ability to learn new applications which support business processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Highly effective communication / presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
