Global Treasurer
Position Summary:
The Global Treasurer will report into the Vice President and Global Controller and lead the global treasury affairs of the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing cash and debt management, cash forecasting, bank relationship management, short-term investing, interest and fx risk management and treasury reporting. The role will partner with the Financial Controls team to establish policies and procedures for all cash processes and will lead efforts towards continued enhancements relative to technologies, services, and structure related to Treasury operations. The Global Treasurer will also drive the annual insurance renewal process. This position will require interaction with all levels, cross functionally, throughout the global organization including senior management in support of the Company’s strategic objectives.
Overall responsibilities include:
- Management of Global Treasury Operations
- Manage daily global cash flow activities including, but not limited to inter-company transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, tax, debt, and other financial obligations, ACH/Wire payments, and monitoring investments.
- Review corporate cash reconciliations prepared by Treasury Analyst.
- Prepare cash flow budgets / forecasts and dashboard reporting to measure areas of risk, cash position, and other aspects of Treasury strategy to review with Senior Management
- Support the management and control of global bank accounts, authorized signers, and oversee the global KYC process.
- Manage the corporate credit card program.
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to optimize the utilization and efficiency of global treasury systems and processes.
- Lead, prepare, and negotiate bids for Treasury services.
- Global Liquidity Management
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to optimize the utilization of internally generated cash to finance global operations, and acquisitions.
- Collaborate with Tax, Accounting, and Legal teams on a variety of liquidity, working capital, and tax optimization projects, including intercompany lending, dividends, capital injections and intercompany loan agreements.
- Evaluate global cash and liquidity pooling strategies to complement existing cash management infrastructure and increase global liquidity.
- Work with Tax to monitor cash repatriation opportunities.
- Global Foreign Exchange and Interest Risk Management
- Lead, identify, evaluate, and recommend strategies to minimize foreign currency and interest rate exposure.
- Evaluate and recommend hedging strategies.
- Support the global FX risk management process.
- Business Development Support
- Lead treasury workstreams of acquisition due diligence and provide guidance on treasury risk mitigation.
- Work with Legal and Tax to support transaction execution inclusive of funding and FX considerations.
- Manage post-closing treasury integration processes.
- Support global expansion and establishment of new entities worldwide.
- Compliance, Controls and Accounting
- Establish and consistently enhance effective treasury processes and controls to ensure consistent, as well as complete and accurate tracking and accounting of global treasury transactions, as well as compliance with treasury related SOX control objectives.
- Develop/update, oversee and ensure compliance with global treasury and investment policies pursuant to best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Bank relationship management
- Manage and maintain effective, transparent relationships with the company’s banking partners.
- Oversee and maintain the Company’s bank credit facility and convertible notes, and related compliance reporting.
Other Activities:
- Lead the company’s annual insurance renewal process (property, D&O, workers’ compensation, etc.) and work with brokers to evaluate insurers to ensure appropriate coverage terms and cost, including claims processing.
- Recruit, coach and develop team members and foster a positive and proactive team-oriented environment.
- Develop and present ad hoc analysis and perspective to management relating to global financial markets.
- Strong ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership in all areas of the business.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; MBA preferred.
- 10-15 years of work experience in treasury or finance related fields with minimum of 8 years of work experience in Treasury required.
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and projects.
- Confidence and ability to work effectively with top-level management and interact professionally with colleagues.
- Treasury workstation and bank software experience
- Experience with international banking processes and regulations
- Proven ability to drive process improvement and lead a small team.
- SAP and/or Workday system knowledge preferred.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
- This role does not require travel.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
