Position Summary:

 

Are you a talented individual with building maintenance knowledge ready to start a new journey with a team of energized professionals advancing and connecting the world’s infrastructure? Bentley is looking for you! We are looking for a Facilities Specialist, reporting directly to the Facilities Supervisor. This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, based in our Exton, PA office.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled facilities maintenance, preventive maintenance, component replacement and repair tasks, including carpentry, mechanical, and basic non-licensed electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work
  • Inspects facilities, prioritizes necessary repairs, improvements, and preventive maintenance checks
  • Cleans up spills and unsafe conditions in a timely manner
  • Inspects, identifies, and reports mechanical problems requiring additional repair
  • Assists with setup and teardown for special events, and other tasks as directed
  • Completes daily work log, incident and accident reports, and requisitions for supplies and materials.
  • Responds to perform emergency cleaning and repair work as necessary
  • Performs light grounds and janitorial maintenance
  • Following and maintaining safety standards

 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • 2 years prior related facility maintenance experience
  • Ability to climb ladders (average 10- 20 feet high)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills and eagerness to help others
  • Able to work as instructed with minimal supervision
  • Good organizational skills
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role does not require travel.
