Job Description: E-Commerce Strategist
 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Commerce Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for optimizing online sales channels, enhancing user experiences, and leveraging data analytics to inform business decisions. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align e-commerce strategies with broader company objectives and ensure measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
 

1. Strategy Development:
   • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive traffic, conversion, and revenue growth.
   • Identify opportunities for expansion across platforms, including websites, marketplaces, and social commerce.
2. Performance Optimization:
   • Conduct regular audits of the online store to optimize user experience, site functionality, and SEO performance.
   • Implement A/B testing and data-driven experiments to improve KPIs, including conversion rates, cart abandonment, and customer retention.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting:
   • Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) to monitor performance and generate actionable insights.
   • Prepare and present regular reports on sales trends, customer behavior, and campaign performance.
4. Digital Marketing Integration:
   • Coordinate with marketing teams to support and optimize campaigns, including PPC, email, social media, and affiliate marketing.
   • Optimize campaigns for e-commerce goals, including sales, subscriptions, or lead generation.
5. Customer Experience:
   • Work closely with customer support teams to address pain points and improve satisfaction.
   • Implement personalization strategies to enhance customer journeys and loyalty.

Qualifications:
 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce strategy, online retail, or digital marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce).
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in SEO, PPC, and data analytics tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Ads, GA4).
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles for e-commerce.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
