Position Summary:
Are you a contract negotiating professional with 3-5 years of experience? Do you enjoy the challenge of working within a global legal department with colleagues in more than 40 offices? If so, we should talk! We are looking for a Contracts Negotiator, a role based in our Company headquarters in Exton, PA (near Philadelphia).
Day To Day Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, drafting and negotiating commercial software licensing, consulting and subcontracting agreements and advising on responding to RFPs.
- Reviewing Purchase Orders and other user terms and conditions for the purchase of software licenses and related services.
- Work responsibilities that clearly demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and organizational proficiency due to highly complex and fast pace of work environment.
- Communicating effectively across multiple mediums - phone, in-person, email - as well as in crafting original correspondence with the user community.
What You Bring To The Team:
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated capability in presenting contract terms, negotiation issues, and risk analysis to key stakeholders and provide recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and engagements concurrently.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with software licensing transactions.
- Prior in-house experience is a strong plus.
- Experience with project release procedures and/or contract management system is a plus.
- J.D. preferred but not required
