Sales Development Representative (Full proficiency in Italian and Spanish language)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Position Summary:


Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, the Sales Development Representative is responsible for developing Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) to be handed over to our Account Managers. This is a key position to begin creating a relationship with new and current users, along with undertaking activities to support the development and management of the Sales pipeline within your assigned region.

This position is critical to the expansion of the Bentley portfolio into our existing user base, along with tapping into markets and industries where Bentley currently doesn’t have footprint. Bentley has a vast and diverse portfolio of products and solutions which continue to create new business opportunities to pursue, and we need your help.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • Research potential prospects online in order to produce qualified call lists for sales colleagues.
  • Qualify leads per the defined Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) criteria, and handoff to the appropriate Sales colleague or Account manager once an SQL is achieved.
  • Supporting lead and opportunity generation activities within the region.
  • Reviewing and supporting the effective follow-up and management of sales leads.
  • Supporting adoption and compliance of the Bentley Sales Process and Opportunity Management.
  •  Sales-related admin functions as directed by your assigned manager.
  • Develop a strong appreciation and deep understanding of how to effectively support your assigned sales team and manager.
  • Have a strong desire and high level of commitment to helping ensure that your assigned sales team meets defined sales goals.
  • Recruit and drive attendance of new prospects and leads to various Bentley and industry events.



What You Bring to The Team: 


  • Full proficiency in Italian and Spanish language (required)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with a software company in Inside Sales, and/or Customer Service, with a flair for communicating with accounts and maximizing the account’s outcomes and Bentley’s revenue. 
  • A pleasant non-intrusive manner, positive attitude, eye for detail, resourceful and inquisitive. 
  • Self-starter, driven and accountable. 
  • Excellent English language and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present value to information to users and prospects via phone and web. 
  • Excellent cross-collaboration skills with various internal departments.
