Position Summary:

 

As the Solution Architect in Solution Engineering (SE), your role is pivotal in driving the growth of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in APAC as a brand specialist who is a Water Industry Domain Expert and has a passion for driving customer success through an innovative approach solving our customer’s most demanding business challenges.

 

As a Solution Architect, you will partner with sales teams during the sales cycle to lead a consultative discovery process with customer executives, craft a vision and roadmap of a solution that addresses customer requirements, identify differentiated value capture potential, and propose an implementation/sustainment program for that solution. 

 

 

We will rely on you for the following:

  • Support the Sales team with technical guidance and support during presales activities.
  • Assist the Account Advancement Team, including Application Engineers of related brands, in preparing solution designs, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders within at least one geographic region, including enterprise account users, strategic technology partners, and internal Bentley team members. 
  • Work closely with the Industry Solution and Product Management  Team to define and prioritise product features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
  • Assist the team in improving go-to-market strategies and sales playbooks.
  • Evaluate and mitigate a competitor's advantage through proposed product enhancements or solution offerings.
  • Observe and drive industry trends and developments through thought leadership and participate in or chair industry committees.
  • Present the Bentley Portfolio of solutions at conferences and other industry events to help expand Bentley's presence.

  

What you Bring to the Team:

  • At least 12 years of experience in one or more industries of expertise.
  • At least 5 years of direct project experience using or implementing Bentley OpenFlow and Digital Twin solutions or similar solutions within the Water Industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of transportation workflows, design processes and industry standards are required.
  • Communicates authoritatively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including storytelling and developing engaging slide deck presentations.
  • Highly adaptable and creative outside-the-box thinking to solve complex root-cause problems and user challenges within the context of current and future product readiness.
