Position Summary:
The Portfolio Management Organization is a key component to Bentley’s overall commercial offerings and consumption programs.We are seeking a highly-motivated individual to communicate the value of Bentley’s Term Licensing program, SELECT subscription program, and Cloud Services Subscription to our users and colleagues. You will be working with users and colleagues to uncover, evaluate, investigate and negotiate the best possible outcome for Bentley and Bentley’s users, as well as serving as an expert internal resource for licensing, usage data analyses, and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an extremely high level of user service by providing timely information, resolving usage-related issues and creating new business opportunities in the form of product leads and Term License fee payments.Qualify and close transactional inbound and usage-based opportunities.
- Ability to interpret license utilization/consumption data to successfully drive Term Licenses to payment.
- Negotiating to satisfactory conclusion, solutions for undersubscription or misunderstanding of Bentley licensing policies.
- Ensure that accounts are clear on their responsibility to manage their software portfolio to ensure software license compliance.
- Managing incoming requests to investigate and resolve license utilization and Term License usage queries.
- Facilitate effective communication requiring cooperative interaction with colleagues in Sales and Operations Advancement teams as well as end-users.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure user satisfaction and Illustrate the value proposition of Bentley’s commercial offerings.
- Achieve quarterly targets related to Term License revenue
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and preferably a master’s degree in water resource, environmental or relevant training and/or experience
- Strong negotiation skills required.
- 3 to 5 years of previous experience dealing with software licenses management, software audit or software compliance is preferred but not essential.
- Previous working experience in EMEA region is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to diffuse difficult conversations with mutually beneficial outcomes.
- A quick learner and attention to detail.
- Experience in the IT or Software Industry preferred.
- Creative thinker and strong ability to use initiative.
- Works well within a team environment and brings a positive attitude.
- Previous software subscriptions (and usage) renewals experience an advantage.Expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
