Position Title: Product Sales Associate

 

Position Summary: 

Our Product Sales Associates (PSA’s) are responsible for developing Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) for construction technology solutions being managed by the ConstructHelix group of Bentley India. The qualified leads will then be nurtured through the sales process leading to converting them to a customer working collaboratively with the tech team following the Bentley sales process. This is a key position to begin creating a relationship with a new User and undertaking activities to support the development and management of the Sales pipeline within your assigned region. You will report to the Business Development Director.

 

This position is critical to tapping into the new accounts, sectors, and markets where Bentley currently doesn’t have a footprint. The ConstructHelix group within Bentley currently markets the nPulse solution for integrated project controls. It is a proven solution that has been deployed across linear infrastructure projects including road, rail, metro, capital projects including process plants, oil & gas, and urban infrastructure projects including commercial and residential real estate. We are looking to grow our market reach for this solution and we need your help. This position is full-time with base salary plus commission.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • You will use a call script to make up to 100-150 cold calls per month and send up to 100 emails per month.
  • Research potential prospects online in order to produce qualified call lists.
  • Qualify leads per the defined criteria, and work with the tech team to do demo of the solution to the qualified lead.
  • Work with the sales and tech team to send our proposals to the prospects and assist during the sales negotiation process.
  • Adhere to the Bentley Sales Process fully utilizing Hubspot as a daily sales tool and reporting system.
  • Supporting lead and opportunity generation activities within the region.
  • Reviewing and supporting the effective follow up and management of sales leads.
  • Sales related admin functions as directed by your assigned manager.
  • Recruit and drive attendance of new prospects and leads to various Bentley and industry events.
  • Develop a strong appreciation, deep understanding, and high level of commitment to effectively support your assigned manager and the group achieve its business and sales goals and topline targets.
  • Post sales admin functions as directed by your assigned manager including managing the account for timely raising of invoices, managing renewals etc.

 

 

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 1 - 3 years of overall previous sales or cold-calling experience, and a polished professional looking to break into technology sales.
  • Experience in conducting cold calling, sales campaigns, email marketing, or a desire to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present written and verbal information to users and prospects via phone and email.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Technically adept, self-motivated and driven by results.
  • Detail oriented in following a process
  • Knowledge of construction technology, project management, and/or construction management a plus
