Position Summary: 

 

As a critical and visible part of Bentley’s Account Advancement Group Operations (AAG Operations), the Regional Enablement Director supports a Regional Executive in applying global standards of execution in enablement and education in both the growth and prospect phases of the continuous sales cycle. This role delivers agreed outcomes by coordinating, developing, facilitating, and delivering enablement programs (including training, workshops, and assets). In parallel with supporting global standards of execution, the Regional Enablement Director forms and implements regionalized enablement approaches. This role ensures that regional colleagues—leadership and individual contributors alike—are equipped to engage accounts at every stage of the continuous sales cycle and with every contact point in the account-engagement model.  

 

Your Day-to-Day: 

 

  • Work with regional leaders from Regional Executives to first lines sales and success managers to implement best practices and support sales motion activities (e.g., prospecting, opportunity creation, gate-keeper tactics, champion management, decision-maker identification, value propositions, ROI calculation).  
  • Understand, evangelize, and improve Bentley’s Sales Process (BSP); align enablement and training programs to ensure focus on strategic priorities and adherence to BSP, ensuring global consistency and standards in collaboration with peers in other regions.  
  • Leverage unified account- and opportunity-planning as a platform for coaching and leadership at every level.  
  • Understand and realize opportunities to increase just-in-time enablement for account-facing colleagues using existing systems but with an eye toward transformational technologies.  
  • Effectively communicate to extended-account-team colleagues how concepts, solutions, capabilities, and strategies impact Bentley accounts and users. Engage subject matter experts to develop and deliver enablement assets in an effective and engaging way.  
  • Identify and assess the impact of learning by setting clear success criteria then measuring and reporting on learning outcomes. Provide analysis and feedback on training events and enablement programs with the goal of optimizing results.  
  • Support new colleague AAG onboarding and matriculation, colleague education related to new and updated enablement curriculum, and training/coaching focused on developing effective account management and development skills and fundamentals.  
  • Foster a culture of “One Bentley” and collaborating with internal stakeholders in a manner that benefits our accounts.  
  • This is an individual contributor role.
  •  This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week.
  • This role requires communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role requires approximately 30% travel.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).

 

What You Bring to The Team: 

 

  • 10 years of sales enablement, sales or customer success experience in a fast-paced, technology software company. AEC industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.  
  • Extremely effective communicator with exceptional English writing and public-speaking skills; capable of interacting with colleagues at every level and across every business line, enhancing process engagement from stakeholders.  
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, you proactively collaborate and leverage your networks to increase alignment and deliver on objectives.  
  • Dynamic teaching/coaching skills.  
  • Expert knowledge of various sales processes and sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, Same-Side) or success management practices 
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills; ability to multi-task, with superior time-management skills.  
  • Expert knowledge of Office 365, including Visio and SharePoint; comfortable learning new technologies and tools.  
  • Self-directed; able to multi-task and prioritize while applying exacting standards and exceeding expectations.  
  • Action-orientated with strong problem solving and organizational skills.  Ability to quickly adapt to change and continue to deliver effectively.  
  • A continuous improvement mindset, you seek to proactively problem solve and propose solutions using data to drive decision-making.  
  • Understands how to lead and motivate both individual contributors and managers to perform to a high level with consistency and sustainability.   
  • Experience in leveraging data for analysis and synthesis, creating actionable insights, drawing data-driven conclusions, and establishing metrics and reports to monitor performance
