Account Manager, Enterprise – Construction

 

Location: This position is open to any qualified candidate in the US. May be from a home office, a Bentley office or a hybrid environment. Ideal location is Denver, CO.

 

Position Summary:

We have the ideal opportunity for an Account Manager- Construction, who will develop and execute campaigns for generating and driving new business, as well as maintaining and developing relationships focused on Synchro sales.  This role will work in conjunction with other Account Managers to drive Synchro results across North America.  

SYNCHRO is a complete portfolio of integrated software and services for digital construction management. Together, they enable construction firms to win projects, deliver them more efficiently, and get paid, improving the use of data to optimize decision-making, resourcing, and profitability.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

The Synchro Account Manager is responsible for selling Synchro solutions to support project delivery and operations & management – as well as enterprise-level commercial offerings in North America to Construction Accounts. In this role you will act as the primary contact for Synchro and will work with AM to determine the sales strategy and negotiate and implement approved contracts and deliver outstanding results.

  • Create effective business plans to expand use of Synchro in context to the North American market.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and driving Synchro sales to exceed quota.
  • Develop relationships at various levels including C-Level, Project Manager’s and VDC Directors within assigned accounts through use of direct sales techniques and conduct on-site meetings.
  • Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following sales process and managing all opportunities in CRM. Adhere to the Bentley Sales Process fully utilizing SAP Cloud for Sales (C4S) as a daily sales tool and reporting system
  • Promote our Synchro value proposition to designers, engineers, architects, contractors and owners to help the customer's meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Commercial Offerings and Software Support Policies.
  • High level use and comfort utilizing social media and prospecting intelligence resources.
  • Negotiate sales and/or service agreements.
  • Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Minimum of 3- 5 years proven experience in selling software solutions into the Engineering, Infrastructure and Construction markets.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following applications: OpenRoads Designer, SYNCHRO, Revit, Civil 3D, Microstation
  • Knowledge of ECM solutions and BIM are required and ideally with a background in Construction. Experience in Asset Management solutions a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team of technical, marketing and sales
  • Background in direct communications and account-based marketing approaches to deliver pipeline growth
  • PC literacy with appropriate MS Office applications proficiency.
  • Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
  • A passion for hitting targets.
  • Proficiency with company products portfolio at a business level.
  • Very well disciplined and organized with a high level of personal integrity.
  • Self-motivating “can-do”-attitude.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • This role requires travelling 15-20% of the year, post COVID
