Bentley Systems is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Quality Analyst to work on our QA team within the Development group located in our Burlington, Ontario office.

  • Owning the entire test lifecycle for assigned features/feature areas
  • Collaboration with Product Mangers/Architects, Developers, and Project Managers as well as peers in the test organization
  • Writing & executing high quality test plans and test cases based on both technical design and customer use cases that ensure the product meets functional, usability and performance requirements.  
  • Creating bugs, ensuring accurate reproductions/root-cause analysis, and collaboration with Development on fixes
  • Participation in test framework development and creation/maintenance of test automation
  • Providing accurate time and effort estimates
  • Maintaining testing infrastructure
  • Research into new testing best practices as well as quality/compliance standards


Required Skills

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent QA experience
  • 5 years Software Quality work experience
  • Knowledge of .NET Framework, C#
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL Server & Azure & Oracle)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, technical analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Team-player with strong collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes
  • A self-directed learner who is adaptable and detail oriented.
  • Ability to assess and isolate problems helping to lead to root cause.


Desired Skills

  • MS Azure or other Cloud technologies
  • Data interoperability platforms such as OPC or PI/OSIsoft
  • Mobile application testing
  • Computerized Plant Maintenance, SAP PM, Maximo or Oracle eAM
  • Experience in coding with both UI and API test automation frameworks
