KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARY:

Digital Construction Works has an exciting new opportunity for a talented Full Stack Senior Software Engineer who is enthusiastic about leveraging bleeding-edge technologies to build and maintain a software solution for the Digital Construction industry. Our new colleague will be responsible and take part in all the development stages of this software, leveraging agile methodologies, C#, Angular, TypeScript, SQL, MSFT Azure and work to develop Digital Twins.

 

You will be part of an international team that influences development of the world’s infrastructure, gain valuable experience on latest technologies, work on challenging and interesting tasks every day with highly skilled professionals on next generation software.

 

LOCATION:

  • Location: Boston, Ma OR virtually-connected from a home office

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with lab management, development leads, and other developers to complete tasks.
  • Design and develop new features and solutions primarily in Microsoft ASP.NET Core, C# (knowledge of TypeScript a plus).
  • Work with a team in an agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery software development process.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to writing testable and maintainable code while actively giving and receiving feedback.
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and approaches as they come.
  • A strong-willed self-starter who wishes to make an impact in the digital construction industry.

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering
  • 6+ years’ experience in software development.
  • Proficient in C#.
  • Proficient in MS SQL
  • Proficient in ASP.NET Core
  • Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English language.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to maximize productivity.
  • Familiarity with reverse engineering of code, refactoring, debugging, testing units and troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated person with the ability to work individually as well as part of a team.

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript syntax and API.
  • Algorithms in data modelling and Data Structures background.
  • Windows Azure, SQL Azure, Azure Functions, Azure Event Grids, and Azure Storage Concepts
  • Single Page Application Development Experience
  • Knowledge of agile scrum development, test driven development, Continuous Delivery and DevOps processes.
  • Experience using Visual Studio, Visual Code, Git, Azure Devops/JIRA, etc.
  • Ability to present in a client facing environment.
  • Track record of being a top performer in current and past roles
  • Client facing skills, sales support, estimation experience
