Associate Application Engineer

Position Summary 

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented individual to become a valued member of our successful team as an  Application Engineer . 

Responsibilities 

Solution/product demo or introduction to potential customers. 

Install/deploy/configure software based on customer's requirement. 

Analyze, design, and implement new functionality in the existing application server architecture to enhance the performance, stability and scalability of the Integration Server product. 

Provide training and documentation to customers. 

Discuss the requirements with the requirement group and analyze problems. 

Provide feedback from customers internally to Product Manager. 

Work with sales team, maintain and expand the usage in strategic accounts. 

Collaborate to write successful user story. 

Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application. 

Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users 

Perform benefit oriented technical presentations of Bentley products and solutions.  

Prepare and perform generic as well as feature specific demonstrations of Bentley products and solutions for individual prospects or during marketing events 

Works with sales team members and Solution Architect in benchmarking to demonstrate a good fit and improved time/performance with the Bentley software 

To assist Business Development and Sales personnel in technical proposal development for prospects and existing customers 

Assist in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make target user comfortable and successful at selling Project Delivery solutions 

Develop standard demonstration sets and content for selected products 

 Bentley solution /Building series discipline workflow presentation, demo to support sales process. 

Building associated discipline associated products presales and user advancement support. 

 Knowledge transfer to partners and strengthen Bentley ecosystem. 

Working with product managers to improve product line performance. Including user requirement analysis, discipline workflow assessment, roadmap definition. 

Providing training, workshop to user. 

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities 

Structural related bachelor's degree or above. 

2-3 years working experience of software applications or deployment. 

Preferred with engineering related (CAD) product experience. 

Acquaintance with Bentley software shall not be required but will be highly encouraged. 

Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills is required. 

Good communication skill, teamwork spirit. 

Willing to travel domestic and international. 

comprehensive understanding of electronic document management with strong emphasis on engineering design 

Experience in managing ProjectWise or similar system preferred 

Familiarity with relational databases, including administration, operation and maintenance with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server 

Experience with existing database systems in the market shall be preferred. Working knowledge on these database systems (especially Oracle and Microsoft SQL) shall be an advantageous 

Excellent writing skills are a must, as he will be responsible for writing white papers and communicating product details and application to the public 

Ability to explain complex issues and solutions to audiences of all levels of knowledge and seniority 

Configuration experience with MicroStation workspaces and/or AutoCAD profiles 

Building related bachelor's degree or above, Architecture, Mechanical, Civil discipline. 

5-10 years working experience. 

BIM digital workflow experience.
