Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities
*Responsible for the pre-sales and technical support of the company's design and analysis products for the offshore engineering industry in China, and promote the success of the products in the Chinese market.
*Prepare and organise all kinds of pre-sales technical materials, including technical bidding documents, product introduction PPT, demo videos and success cases, etc.; support product-related marketing activities and work with sales to explore market opportunities and sales leads, provide pre-sales technical support to potential customers, promote the completion of existing orders and increase product market share.
*Prepare and organise product-related learning and training materials and deliver product learning materials to users via various platforms. Provide product functional training and technical services according to customer needs to increase user usage and product stickiness. Establish good partnership with key customers in the industry and organise them into product success stories through user project cases.
*Understand the development dynamics of the offshore engineering industry, collect, track and organise market and customer needs. Collaborate with domestic and international development teams to optimise product features and guide industry development direction based on customer needs and industry transformation.
*Through the company's official technical support platform, answer and respond to users' technical questions and strive to improve users' satisfaction with the product.
*Work with partners to build and maintain a favourable product ecosystem.

Job Requirements

*More than 3 years of experience in the offshore engineering industry, familiar with the design process and analysis methods of all kinds of fixed or floating offshore structures, proficient in API, DNV, ABS and GB and other domestic and international structure design specifications of the offshore oil or offshore wind industry.
* As an engineer, he/she has participated in a number of projects related to structural design or evaluation of offshore wind turbine foundations or offshore oil platforms, and is familiar with various in-situ design and construction/installation design processes of offshore platform structures.
* Proficient in one or more offshore structural analysis software packages such as SACS, SESAM, Ansys etc. and have some understanding of the software industry.
* Good presentation and interpersonal skills, able to present and argue in a variety of situations. Good team working skills, able to communicate at a technical, managerial and strategic level.
* Strong independent problem solving skills, able to find solutions quickly and achieve good results in a complex environment.
* Ability to communicate with foreign teams with some English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
* Ability to adapt to business travel
