Position Summary:

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented and experienced individual to become a full-time member of our successful Application Support team as a mid-level Technical Support Engineer. As part of the Bentley Support group, focusing on Transport Network and Asset software, the job role will initially focus on one of our prestige SaaS contracts, before branching out into other application areas. Joining a mature team, the position would suit an experienced Technical Support Engineer used to dealing with Enterprise Systems across Hosted Services and familiar with general application support principles associated with them. The role’s responsibilities include problem analysis, replication, documentation, and resolution involving Bentley’s supported products.

 

We will rely on you for the following:

  • Provides timely responses to Users for application issues via web, email and phone for one product line
  • Manages user enquiries and accurately documents incidents via online case management tool, knowledge base, and scripted actions
  • Performs troubleshooting to diagnose the root cause and resolve the issue quickly and effectively
  • Performs testing to ensure that solution was successful
  • Escalates more complex issues as required
  • Builds knowledge of product/solution/process
  • Improving front-end troubleshooting skills while learning to understand and addressing the needs of the user's business.
  • Staying up to date with primary products and knowledge of the base functionality of adjacent products
  • Create clear and accurate contributions to Bentley Communities that accurately reflect the use of the product
  • Learning to work collaboratively on a team and communicate requirements in meetings
  • Proactively asks questions and reaches out for help when needs assistance

 

What You Bring to The Team

  • Experience in Hosted-Application Support environments
  • A "user first" attitude and desire to help solve problems and address issues as they arise
  • Problem analysis skills
  • Ability to ask open-ended questions, active listening, and perform basic troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in documenting accurately both troubleshooting steps and results
  • Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service skills for both internal and external customers
  •  

What would make you stand out:

  • Experience with Customer Service experience
  • Experience or knowledge with SQL experience
  • Experience or knowledge with SSRS and Power BI knowledge
