Position Summary:

Bentley’s purpose is to advance the world’s infrastructure for a better quality of life. We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Global Director of Culture and Inclusion to collaborate across our global organization to create an inclusive, high-performance work environment for all colleagues and oversee the implementation of the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy.  The Global Director of Culture and Inclusion will be able to lead and inspire positive change, programs, and partnerships for our colleagues, communities, and external stakeholders.   

 

About This Role: 
The Global Director of Culture and Inclusion is a critical leader in our Corporate Responsibility team. Their primary goal will be to develop and implement strategies and programs that increase engagement and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging for our more than 5,000 global colleagues. In collaboration with key stakeholders, this leader will create and implement an overall framework that aligns goals with business outcomes into all practices and processes of the Company that builds upon colleague engagement, talent attraction, advocacy, and brand awareness with external stakeholders.   

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide learning and development opportunities to colleagues at different career stages across the organization   
  • Oversee colleague resource groups critical to fostering belonging and driving colleague engagement  
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify inclusion-related trends and opportunities for growth  
  • Collaborate with Colleague Success team to enhance talent attraction and engagement for colleagues particularly from underrepresented groups 
  • Support communications (external and internal) efforts at sharing our culture and inclusion story  
  • Develop and implement relevant policies and training and awareness  
  • Build relationships with leadership and embed inclusion-related programs and initiatives across business units 
  • Support strategic partnerships with industry groups, government affairs, and community groups to raise brand awareness, strengthen business relationships, and attract talent 

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of demonstrated success in leading and advancing diversity and inclusion efforts, preferably in a global publicly traded company.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years professional experience preferably in HR roles.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, process, and project management skills to deliver detailed, data-driven work outputs to senior executives.
  • Highly strategic and connect the dots systems thinker.
  • Experience elevating and leading cross-functional teams & working with executives on strategies.
  • Experienced people leader, capable of overseeing and developing high performing teams including resource groups.
  • Ability to operate as a global leader to link diversity and inclusion initiatives to positive impact on business with an understanding and appreciation for regional differences.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, office-based, remote-based, or hybrid in the US.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
  • This role requires up to 10% of travel.
