Microsoft 365 Coordinator

 

Location: Home-Based Canada / Hybrid Burlington, Ontario.

 

Position Summary:

As the Coordinator, Microsoft 365, your role ensures the successful delivery of large and small projects related to our colleague M365 experience. You take ownership of digital projects and updates from inception to completion, demonstrating proficiency in prioritizing workloads, resource allocation, and establishing realistic delivery schedules.

Operating within the Digital Experience Design team, you create an environment that fosters project success through clear prioritization, effective planning practices, efficient execution, and collaboration with other groups. Your organizational acumen and adaptability shine as you actively engage with stakeholders at all levels, showcasing your project and time management capabilities.

As the Coordinator, Microsoft 365, you play a critical role in improving our colleague experience. Your workday is characterized by collaboration across business unit stakeholders, such as User Success, Brand, and Marketing while working with our DX Design organization to elevate the quality of our solutions.This role reports to our Technical Product Manager and works as a key member of the Digital Experience Design team.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Act as the first line of support for Microsoft app end users:  Troubleshoot and investigate issues, respond to help tickets, assist and educate colleagues on how to most effectively use all Microsoft app features and apply best practices within SharePoint, MS Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Project, Planner, and others.
  • Work alongside the Microsoft Technical Product Manager to assist in designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Experience Design team and provide technical guidance on initiatives to bring consistent branding and design to internal SharePoint sites and apps.
  • Monitor and stay current on Microsoft's roadmap for upgrades to M365 services. Share relevant changes, features, and best practices with colleagues to optimize the use of Microsoft 365 services within the company.
  • Create and maintain training documentation and content to keep the Microsoft 365 resource site updated and relevant.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Holistic knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, especially SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
  • At least 1-year experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously 
  • Prioritizes user experience and responsiveness
  • High level of discretion, comfortable handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
